Nestled amidst the beauty of Maui's coastline, four distinct pool experiences spread across 22 lush tropical acres offer a myriad of spectacular views and amenities to choose from. From a waterpark experience at Nalu Adventure Pools featuring Hawaii's longest resort slide to the newest adults-only wellness pool in Maui, Wailea, the water awaits at the ocean's edge.
All pools offer the following amenities:

Maluhia
Our signature adults-only infinity edge pool, a vibrant destination offering abundant cabanas, casabellas, and loungers, to take in panoramic views of the Pacific.
'Ohi Pools
Our family pool features two oceanfront pools and whirlpool spas, offering an additional vantage point to enjoy the spectacular views of the Pacific. Adjacent to Kapa Bar & Grill, ‘ ‘Ohi also offers oversized luxury cabanas available to accommodate groups and families.
NALU Adventure Pool
Our Maui resort with waters slides in Wailea features the NALU Adventure Pool. Enjoy family-sized cabanas, splash zones, and four water slides, including Hawaii’s longest resort waterslide at 325 feet. Certified instructors available for scuba lessons in the Upper Dive Pool.
Olakino Spa & Wellness Experience
Beyond a pool experience, Olakino is a wellness oasis for the health and vitality of the body. The exclusive adults-only wellness sanctuary offers curated sensory delights designed to relax and rejuvenate the mind, body, and soul. With limited spaces available, guests may book full-day access in advance to enjoy culinary programming, bespoke spa treatments, and wellness workshops.
Beach
Wailea Beach Resort is cradled between two golden sand beaches, Ulua Beach and Wailea Beach (often cited as one of the best beaches in America). Pae'ahu Reef, located directly in front of the resort, is an underwater oasis teeming with marine life. In the State of Hawaii, all beaches have public access. Consequently, in the County of Maui, beaches cannot be reserved for private parties. Alcoholic beverages and smoking are prohibited.
Visit our beach activities kiosk to rent all the equipment you need for a fun-filled day in the sun. Snorkel with our resident turtles, take in epic views from a stand-up paddleboard, kayak the coastline to explore at your own pace, and don't forget to rent a GoPro when staying at Wailea Beach Resort!
Whale Season
Whale season comes to Maui every year starting as early as November and continues through March, and sometimes early April. Specific sails and whale watches may be organized for your group. Some of the best places to whale-watch are right at the resort - from an infinity pool or directly on your lanai and of course, along the beach walk path. According to the Pacific Whale Foundation, the humpback whale is an endangered species that has been protected from whaling since 1966 in the North Pacific and since 1963 in the South Pacific. The North Pacific count is approximately 1,500 with estimates ranging between 800 and 2000 whales. Approximately 60% (480-1200) of these whales’ winter in Hawaii each year.
Ocean Safety
REEF-SAFE SUNSCREEN: IT'S THE LAW
Effective October 1, 2022, only mineral sunscreens are allowed in Maui County. Hawai’i is one of the most isolated archipelagos on earth and our coral reefs are home to unique marine life found nowhere else on the planet. Here in Maui County, coral reefs are fundamental to the marine economy, provide places for recreation and longstanding Hawaiian cultural practices, buffer against waves, storms and floods which helps prevent property damage, erosion and loss of life.
The active ingredients used in non-mineral sunscreen products in Maui County coastal waters acts as a pollutant, with environmental contamination levels refreshed and renewed, every day, by swimmers and beachgoers.
Use sunscreens made with only natural mineral ingredients: ‘non-nanotized’ zinc oxide or titanium dioxide.
Wear protective hats, sunglasses, long-sleeved shirts, or rash guards and wetsuits in the water.
Protect your skin by avoiding peak sunlight between 10am-2pm.
Respecting Marine Life
Pae'ahu Reef, located directly in front of the resort is home to an abundance of marine life, including Hawaii's sea turtles. On any given day, sea turtles can be observed near the shoreline along the beachwalk path. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and The Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) recommend, for your safety and the animals' protection, to stay at least 10 feet (3 meters) from all sea turtles.
Surf Warnings
Please keep in mind that while the Pacific is indeed a very inviting ocean, it can also be very dangerous. For this reason, we have surf warnings posted at intervals on beaches throughout Maui. It is very important that your guests/attendees are made aware of this fact by advanced communication and that they pay attention to the warnings as they are posted. Not all beaches are staffed with lifeguards. Swimming and watersports are done at your own risk.
